Product Description
ORUID can provide a wide range of secondary seals for casing spools and tubing heads, they are used to seal around the casing stub in the bottom bowl of the casing spool or tubing head.
PE
PE secondary seal is inserted in the bottom preparation of a casing spool or tubing head and retained with a snap ring. It is designed up to 10,000psi. It is energized when the casing spool or tubing head is installed over the casing stub and the flange connection is made up.
HPE
HPE secondary seal is designed for high pressure applications. The bottom compression plate is threaded and inserted in the bottom preparation of casing spool or tubing head.
O-O
O-O secondary seal consists of two elastomer seals, it offers great flexibility to all internal and external sizes. It can protect the casing during drilling and downhole operations. It is designed up to 5,000psi.
P
Single or doulbe P seals can be used as secondary seals. P seal consists of a large elastomer seal with separate anti-extrusion rings. P seal can be sized to accommodate the tolerance range of casing. Double P seals can be tested with pressure applied between the seals. It is designed up to 15,000psi.
BT
Double BT seals can be used as secondary seals. They can be located in grooves in the bottom of the casing spool and tubing head. It is designed up to 5000psi.
FS
Double FS seals can be used as secondary seals. A spring molded in each inside corner of the seal provides an anti-extrusion mechanism when sealing against pressure. It is designed up to 10,000psi.
PE
PE secondary seal is inserted in the bottom preparation of a casing spool or tubing head and retained with a snap ring. It is designed up to 10,000psi. It is energized when the casing spool or tubing head is installed over the casing stub and the flange connection is made up.
